Board Meetings
The Library Board meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. at the library. Community members are welcome to attend. Please check our Events Page for the most up-to-date meeting details, as dates and times may change.
Service District
The Benzie Shores District Library proudly serves the following areas:
- City of Frankfort
- Blaine Township
- Crystal Lake Township
- Village of Elberta
- Gilmore Township
- Portions of Lake Township (within the Frankfort-Elberta school district)
Library Cards and Borrowing
- Full Borrowing Privileges: Available at no charge for full or part-time residents, property owners within the district, and students enrolled in Frankfort-Elberta Area Schools.
- Limited Borrowing Privileges: Available for anyone outside the district who wishes to borrow physical materials (no digital loans).
